Week 0

7028 will be hosting the Central MN Robotics Hub Week 0 event this season. Please see the information below and follow the links for registration and team meal requests. Additional details will be provided to registered teams as we get closer to the event.

General Information:

When: Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Where: STMA High School (5800 Jamison Avenue Saint Michael, MN 55376)

Cost of Admission: Free to the public (team registration costs listed below)

Food: Concessions will be offered at this event. Registered teams can reserve lunches

Spec Check: We will have a Lead Robot Inspector (LRI) available for unofficial inspections from 9am-12pm

Schedule:

7:30 AM – Pits open

8:30 AM – Brief Drivers Meeting

9:00 AM – Matches Begin

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:00 PM – Matches Resume

3:45 PM – Matches End

Cost: $175 ($150 if game pieces are provided).

Discounts will be granted upon receipt of game pieces that day.

Lunch:

The lunch registration deadline has passed, but concessions will be available.

 

Field elements will be made out of wood, so be aware that measurements will be close to competition measurements but may not be 100% true.

Deliberate damage to field and field components will result in dismissal from the event. Excessive robot to robot contact and aggressive play is not allowed, and will also result in dismissal from the event.

Wood and metal shops will be open for teams to use at this event.
